HOMEWORK updates/CA updates
homework first:1) for those who r in 1/1 class for math. remember to do ur math questions in the math textbk in ur math ex bk 2. they r: pg 35 Q1b,2,4,7,8 and pg 56:question 5 (
deadline on monday)
2)for chinese in 1st class: do ur bi ji,chinese jian bao if u havent do.now is jian bao 6 for the jian bao also rmb to study tinxue.
CA test updates:monday: lit test,sci1 test
tuesday: chinese test(stay back aft last lesson to do)
wednesday: history test? if not,it will be on thursday
thursday:math test(will be tested on ALL the things we had learnt)

Erm hello again. I'm gonna address some stuff I didn't in my previous post. I forgot to remind you guys about some things to take note of.
1. Phototaking. Please bring your tie on Monday, 22/2/10, as there will be phototaking. For those who don't know how to tie a tie(like me, paiseh), learn or ask your friends for help on that day. Please look presentable, get a haircut if needed. Shave, erm, if necessary. And do your hair nicely!
2. White apron. Sorry for making you guys bring your apron non-stop everyday for the past few days. Altho I don't know where to put the aprons, I've decided to collect them on Monday, 22/2/10, and leave them in class or something.
3. Class secretary. I feel it is vital that our class has a class secretary, or maybe two. Why? Cause one, being a class manager and handling everything isn't easy(I don't know if Nicole feels the same way)so I want to appoint a class secretary. If interested, email me at VAKAMA3500@hotmail.com and tell me your name and that you want to be chosen. I will consider with Nicole on who should be class secretary. then consult Mdm Mariam or Ms Ho.
Being a class secretary is easy, just doing what the class manager asks you to do(don't worry I'm sure Nicole and I won't ask you to do stupid stuff).
4. X - country run. You may come in sports shoes, but please be reminded that wearing your PE attire is compulsory.
5. Speech competition. Let's congratulate Jebin and Sumana for getting chosen to represent our class in the interclass speech thingy. They will be speaking on Wednesday, 24/2/10 and will be rehearsing on Monday, 22/2/10. So let's wish them all the best!
6. Math excursion on Thursday 25/2/10!
7. Bring your money to purchase you coupons on Monday 22/2/10. Late payment is not accepted. Borrow money or something if you ever forget to bring.

Hello fellow classmates. Some more things you should note.
1. There will be a Science test on Monday, 22/2/10, the subject tested will be Lab Safety Rules, so there isn't much to study for, but I'll just notify you of the test. Just flip through your science file, the notes on everything you need to know should be there, if you have been filing your work constantly that is.
2. Project work. Please be reminded that IT leaders/ leaders should check their Iam Temasek accounts for the files they need to share with their groupmates. The link to the login page is here.
3. Projects. Please get started on you EL and History group projects if you haven't! Even if they are done please try to make it better! They are graded!
4. Get your homework done you they are not! Biology worksheets, geography pair - work worksheets, Ace Your English, English Journal, Maths on the net(not applicable to all), Bi Ji(not applicable to all), Jian Bao(not applicable to all), learn Ting Xie(not applicable to all). Brush up your History Mindmap if you think it needs sprucing up.
5. Study for literature test! Read Hideout in Geylang and make sure you know it inside - out(eg. what are the themes?)
6. Chinese test timing. I have not heard any new news. Please be patient.

Hello class, hope you are fine. Just some gentle reminders.
1. Please, please, please keep doing your Ace Your English and English Journal, even if the teacher doesn't seem to be checking and is slacking. Who knows when she might collect back, so please do them on a weekly basis(Ace Your English 2 exercises per week, number of journal entries vary), okay? It's for your own good.
2. There will be a Mother Tongue test next Thursday, 25/2/10. The date is currently tentative as it sort of clashes with the Math science center trip. Please wait for further details from either Nicole or me(or whoever who wants to upload posts regarding this issue).
3. Please be reminded that there will be a literature test this coming Monday, 22/2/10. Please take the weekend to study for it. The tested chapter will be Hideout in Geylang.
4. History test. Please study Chapter 3 of your history textbook, or research on it. The test will either be on Wednesday, 24/2/10, or Thursday, 25/2/10. As for the history homework, either me or Nicole will post on what you need to do.
5. English test. Please be prepared. Mrs Loke told me the class did not do too well. Study harder next time. :)
6. Biology worksheets. Please do them in case Ms Woon asks for it on the next lesson. Please remember to bring all your science stuff too.
7. Geography. Please finish up the pair worksheet related to the !Kung Bushmen if you haven't by next Wednesday.
8. English and history projects. Remember to sort things out with your groupmates and make these projects a success! :D
9. There will be a X-country race next Friday, please report to the Esplanade Lawn by 0720. Remember to come in PE attire. I will ask if sports shoes are allowed and some FAQ(ask as a comment or email me at VAKAMA3500@hotmail.com if you have any questions. Tell me your name please. I check my email everyday). And train if necessary.
Should I have missed out anything you think that is important, or feel that the class should know about, please feel free to post it.

Today class 1/1 hav their first learning journey!!!!!woohooo!!!!!
we went to the asian civilisation museum(ACM)..
for some ppl,this is the 2nd time they gone to the mueseum so it was boring for them...on the way there,the bus air con was failing and every1 complaint that it was hot =D.the sec 4 students was very freindly they giv us the ans straight away so we dun nid to think so much.and this is why almost every1 giv them 18 marks! so friendly right?
then we went bak to sch on a cold bus.then when i alight,i heard to bus driver talking on a phone saying some bad words it was so funny.then we went home loh.
